Welcome to Our Resort

Oasis Lodge, nestled amongst the Doum Palms in the semi desert of northern Kenya, near Lake Turkana, presents a very special opportunity for a unique safari catering to the more adventurous clients who want to see the Kenya that few have seen.

Recently renovated, Oasis Lodge also hosts two lovely pools fed by natural hot springs.  After one of the activities available, your clients may enjoy the relaxing atmosphere in the shade of the doum palms, a cool drink at the famous bar, or just swim in the pool.

Oasis Lodge is well-known for its excellent cuisine.  The Jade Sea, as Lake Turkana is also called, is a remarkable fishing ground of Tilapia and Nile Perch, and Albert, the chef, prepares tasty meals from the daily catch. Fresh food, including meat and vegetables, is flown in as required, and the Lodge has modern refrigeration facilities. Please advise special dietary requirements.

Oasis Lodge was also the scene of the filming of The Mountains of the Moon and The Constant Gardener, a blockbuster Hollywood production, based on the book written by John LeCarre. It was also the home of various TV Shows from European and Japanese documentaries about the Great Rift Valley.

Lake Turkana - Oasis Club - It isn't just a safari; it is a journey to another world and an adventure one will not easily forget. Use of our Charter Aircraft, a Cessna 206, makes your trip to Oasis Lodge very memorable, as the flight takes you over the most amazing diversity of Kenyan topography, from the Coffee and Tea Estates at Limuru, through the Aberdare Mountains and the Laikipia Plains, to the dramatic volcanoes of the Suguta Valley. The flight takes a little more than two hours and makes it easy to visit the Jade Sea, rather than driving for two days over the toughest roads Kenya has to offer.
